Starting later this year, American Airlines flyers in premium class will have access to a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 running Android 3.1. This is only for select flights – it appears that it will be for flights that already offer personal entertainment devices in their premium cabins.
Android is gaining more market share in tablets where iOS used to rule. As this happens, expect more tablet-optimized apps to continue showing up in the Android Market.
