An Adobe flash security flaw prompted an update to the BlackBerry PlayBook OS. The update is to fix this flaw, and will include a new version of Adobe flash.
Newly purchased PlayBooks will upgrade to the latest OS automatically as part of the setup. Current owners can wait for the update to be detected automatically, or they can manually check for updates starting today.
